The British Neuro-oncology Society (BNOS) exists to:
promote high-quality neuro-oncology research, education and multidisciplinary patient-centred care; and
understand brain tumours to ensure the very best care is provided to all patients
BNOS provides interactive and collaborative opportunities between the diverse neuro-oncology disciplines; specialist education and training for junior scientists and clinicians; and encourages the sharing of innovation in research and clinical practice via opportunities for abstract presentations, awards and bursaries. Additionally, BNOS strives to act as the voice of neuro-oncology in the political process, promoting increased research funding and up-to-date utilisation of treatments and techniques in clinical practice.
